Lanzarote was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO on October 7, 1993, thanks to the perfect connection existing on the island between human beings and nature, with the waters of Lanzarote giving shelter to a great diversity of marine species.
In this guide you will find the most representative diving areas of the island perfectly detailed and also a guide of the most common species that you can find during your dives in Lanzarote.
This guide was made possible thanks to the participation of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the Biosphere Reserve Office, UNESCO and the Spanish Biosphere Reserve Network.
